Discounts and Additional Information

Tourists buying tickets online will get a discount of Rs. 5/- per Indian ticket and Rs. 50/- per Foreigner ticket.

No entry fee for children below the age of 15 years (both Domestic and Foreigner).

Additional Rs. 200/- will be charged if one wants to visit the main mausoleum.

Night Viewing of the Taj Mahal

Experiencing the Taj Mahal under the light of a full moon is a unique and enchanting experience. The monument is available for night viewing on five days each month: on the full moon night and two nights before and after the full moon.

Where to Buy Taj Mahal Night Viewing Tickets

Night viewing tickets can be purchased from various outlets including travel agents, hotels, tourist offices, or directly from the Archaeological Survey of India. Tickets are available online at Archaeological Survey of India.

Night Viewing Timings

  1. Night viewing is scheduled from 20:00 hrs to 23:59 hrs.
  2. Visitors are divided into 8 batches of up to 50 people each.
  3. Each batch has a time duration of 30 minutes.
  4. Tourists must report to Shilpgram (near the Eastern gate of Taj Mahal) half an hour before their scheduled time for security checks.
  5. It is mandatory for all visitors to carry their ID during the visit.

Taj Mahal Night View Ticket Prices

  1. Adults: Rs. 510/- (Indian), Rs. 750/- (Foreigner)
  2. Children (3-15 years): Rs. 500/- (both Indian & Foreigner)

Important Notes

  1. Night viewing of the Taj Mahal is closed every Friday and during the month of Ramzan.
